Amazon Premium A+ Content is the highest-tier enhanced listing module available to brand-registered sellers. It unlocks video, interactive hotspot images, and enhanced comparison charts — and can increase sales by up to 20%, according to Amazon. Access is free and earned automatically by meeting two specific criteria, reviewed every Friday.
Amazon Premium A+ Content is the enhanced product description module that gives brand-registered sellers access to video, interactive image hotspots, and premium comparison charts — capabilities unavailable in standard Basic A+ modules. While Basic A+ Content can lift sales by up to 8% (Amazon, sell.amazon.com), Premium A+ raises that ceiling to 20%, making it one of the highest-ROI unlocks available on the platform.
Premium A+ is not a paid add-on. It is a feature unlocked automatically once a brand meets Amazon's eligibility criteria — at no additional cost beyond your Brand Registry membership. Brands using optimized A+ content see conversion rates increase by 5–20% and lower return rates by 10–15% (Sequence Commerce).

Amazon checks two conditions simultaneously before granting Premium A+ access. Meeting only one will not trigger activation. The system runs its check every Friday — no manual application needed.
A Brand Story must be Published on all product listings — every ASIN in your brand, without exception. If even one product is missing a Brand Story, or if a Brand Story is in Submitted (not Published) status, access is delayed to the next Friday cycle.
Your account must contain at least 10 A+ pieces in Approved status. These can be any combination of A+ modules — duplicates count as separate pieces. The modules don't need to be live on products; Approved status alone is sufficient.
Sellers with a single product can reach 10 approved A+ pieces using Amazon's duplication feature. This is the exact workflow from the SHTONDA.DESIGN internal guide, confirmed by our Amazon PPC partner.
In Seller Central, go to Advertising → A+ Content Manager → Brand Story. Create a Brand Story and publish it to all ASINs. For a single product, this means assigning it to every size and color variation. Content can be simple — a short brand description and your logo are enough.
Create at least one A+ content piece for your product. It can be minimal — even a single text block qualifies. Submit it and wait for approval (typically 7 business days). You need this first approved piece before you can duplicate.
Open your approved A+ piece in A+ Content Manager. Click Actions → Duplicate → Copy ASINs. A new content tab opens with a copy. Then: Edit → Save → Save → Submit. Repeat until you have 10 approved pieces total. You can duplicate up to 5 times per session.
Once Brand Story is Published on all ASINs and you have 10 Approved A+ pieces, no further action is needed. Amazon checks eligibility every Friday. If conditions are met, Premium A+ module options appear in your A+ Content Manager after the Friday cycle.
For brands with a broader catalog, reaching 10 approved A+ pieces is straightforward — you need full coverage across your catalog. The duplication hack is only needed if you have fewer than 10 products.
Ensure a Brand Story is Published on every product — all ASINs, all variations. Use A+ Content Manager → Brand Story and assign it to your full ASIN list. A single Brand Story can be assigned to multiple ASINs simultaneously.
Create at least one A+ piece per product and submit for approval. With 10+ products, each approved A+ piece counts individually — you reach the 10-piece threshold through normal catalog coverage. With fewer than 10 products, use the duplication method to top up.
In A+ Content Manager, verify every piece shows Approved — not Submitted or Pending. Amazon's Friday review activates Premium A+ once both requirements are simultaneously met. A single rejected or pending piece keeps you below threshold.
Amazon runs its Premium A+ eligibility check on a weekly basis — every Friday. There is no button to press, no form to submit, and no support ticket to open. Once your account meets both requirements, the system activates access automatically.
Meeting the eligibility criteria is one step — designing Premium A+ modules that actually convert is another. Here is how to move forward.
